Maximize power for a sustainable future and more efficient renewable energy.
CO2 offset
in the renewable energy sector through our wind farms.
A wind farm stretches across a hilly landscape under a partly cloudy sky. The turbines, featuring red tips on their blades, represent a renewable energy source.
Facts
Wind energy allows the kinetic energy of the wind to be harnessed and converted into electricity through the use of wind turbines. These structures are designed and built to be set in motion by the wind; their rotation is transmitted to a shaft, which in turn is connected to an electricity generator.
The renewable energy sector, particularly wind power, is experiencing global growth due to progressively decreasing investment costs, rising demand for electricity, and increasing attention to climate change and pollution issues. In recent years, there has been significant technological development, enabling the creation of increasingly efficient wind turbines with a reduction in installation costs and the cost of energy produced.
