The Vigolana 1 photovoltaic plant in Romania is now operational
Alexandria (Teleorman). We proudly announce the official energizing of the Vigolana 1 photovoltaic plant located in the municipality of Alexandria, Teleorman County (Romania). With an installed capacity of 12.7 MWp and a grid injection capacity of 10 MW, the project represents a significant step towards sustainable energy transition.
The plant will contribute to renewable energy production with an annual estimate of 19.5 GWh, equivalent to the energy needs of approximately 7,000 households, and a reduction of over 8,500 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.
We are committed to monitoring and optimizing the plant’s operation through advanced real-time analysis systems, predictive maintenance, and periodic technological updates to maximize energy output.
The project not only supports the EU’s decarbonization goals but also creates local job opportunities by involving regional stakeholders in the construction and management phases.
We extend our gratitude to all partners, institutions, and technical teams who contributed to the success of this initiative.
