Alerion energizes the Passirio photovoltaic plant in Romania
Dragalina, Călărași, Romania. We are pleased to announce the operational launch of the Passirio photovoltaic plant, located in the municipality of Dragalina, Călărași County, Romania. This significant project, with a capacity of 6 MWp, has begun feeding 4.08 MW into the grid, marking a significant step towards a more sustainable energy future.
The Passirio plant, with an estimated annual production of 9.25 GWh, will generate enough clean energy to power over 3,000 households, actively contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions in the region. It is estimated that the plant will avoid the emission of approximately 3,700,000 kg of CO2 annually. This saving is equivalent to the CO2 absorption of about 185,000 trees planted each year, highlighting our commitment to energy transition and the promotion of renewable sources.
We will continue to closely monitor the plant’s performance and implement optimization strategies to maximize clean energy production. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all partners, local authorities, and project teams who made the success of this initiative possible.
We look forward with enthusiasm to the future opportunities that Passirio will bring, contributing to cleaner energy and a healthier environment for all.
